Welcome to Rob's Polar Plunge Page
I'm taking the PLUNGE for Camp Sunshine!
I’ve made it my purpose to volunteer my time, as much as I possibly can, to organizations that spark change, promote growth and selflessly serve their communities. Camp Sunshine certainly fits the bill.
It is way outside of my comfort zone to ask for help, but for a cause so grand that brings happiness, security and peace to the children and their families, I would be doing a disservice to all my family & friends if I didn’t ask you all to please send in a donation for the cause. No contribution is too small or too big, to positively impact the lives of the campers, their families and volunteers at Camp Sunshine. You can even join my team and take the PLUNGE as well.
I strongly encourage you to also make it your goal to help make a difference in at least 1 family’s life.
Hailing from Canada I have no fear of the frigid waters in the middle of winter and neither should you, so come out and join me, watch or simply donate. All funds raised will help send children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to Camp Sunshine.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kind generosity.
A bit about Camp Sunshine:
Established in 1960, Camp Sunshine came about when a group of parents banded together to create a "Place in the Sun" for campers to enjoy the liberties of summertime without feeling defeated by limitations their disabilities or illnesses can bring. In 1970, Camp Snowflake was open to continue to nurture the relationships built during the summer, where campers meet every Saturday throughout the year.
