Welcome to My Personal Polar Plunge Page
Hello, Friends and Family:
Only 6 days left until I PLUNGE for Camp Sunshine at Wachusett Mountain on Sunday, March 17!
I have met my goal, but there is nothing wrong with being an overachiever! Please help our team by making a donation that will help send children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to Camp Sunshine in beautiful Maine.
I learned about Camp Sunshine from my friend and coworker, Roxanne Davidson. Her son Scotty was diagnosed with anoptic chiasm hypothalamic glioma at the tender age of 5. Scotty is now 17 years old and getting ready to choose the college he will attend in the Fall.
Each of us has a charity that is near and dear to our heart, but please consider a donation - no matter how small - so that we can all help the campers and families to have some time away from everyday life.
f you know anything about me, you know that it takes quite awhile for me to get into any kind of water, even in the middle of summer. But if Scotty can fight his illness like a soldier, then I can certainly put on my big girl panties (or whatever costume Roxanne dreams up) and jump into a pool of water in the winter.
